Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen is quite convinced that the United States will not experience another financial crisis for a very long time to come. In fact, she is publicly saying that she does not believe that another one will happen “in our lifetimes”. But there are other central bankers that see things very differently. [...]
Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk.com, Yesterday, in response to alleged “progress” on Obamacare I penned Mish’s Rule of Progress. Today, I am pleased to announce even more amazing budget progress in the state of Illinois. First, let’s recap progress at the national level. On Tuesday, President Trump called all the Republican Senators to a meeting to re […]
An Election, Another Explosion When Nixon was elected in November of 1968, things really began to heat up at Gadsby & Hannah. Colson’s work on Nixon’s behalf had been very much appreciated by Nixon (even if it wasn’t by some of his men), and the opportunities for recompense at the firm were going to be […]
What is with the Healthcare Act? I generally try to keep about as far away from this type of dog fighting regarding the GOP versus Obamacare; moreover, it is basically how Americans feel about their own government and the intervention … Continue reading →

Every government trip to China should produce the right blend of snickers and incredulity. On the one hand, we have corporate suits-and-ties making a show of giving China a lecture on trade imbalances and subsidized trade wars. On the other hand, China is sitting on 200 Trillion in U. S.
